1. Who are we? Ironville is a small United Methodist Church in the small community of Ironville just outside of Columbia PA. We exist to be a community where people gather and grow in order to go and serve the world as disciples of Jesus. We have been working to do this for over 175 years.
2. What is your address and phone number? We are located at 4020 Holly Drive, Columbia PA 17512. Our phone number is 717-684-8072. Pastor Jeff is typically only in the office on Monday- Thursday- so if you call and don’t get an answer please leave a message and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
3. What time are your Sunday Services? We meet each Sunday @ 10:30 am. The worship service is also live-streamed on Youtube and this website. You can visit the Worship Tab to view previous services. Each Sunday @ 10:30 the live stream also appears on that page.
4. What is your worship service like? We are generally traditional in style. We have an organist that plays each Sunday. We sing hymns together, share our prayer requests, read Scripture, and listen to a sermon. We have a fellowship time, with coffee and snacks, leading up to our service. When you pull into the parking lot you can park and enter through the doors at the carport. There is often a greeter standing there to help direct you.
5. What should I wear? The dress tends to be a mix between formal and informal. You will see shirts and ties, but also jeans and polos.
6. Do you have nursery care? Yes, we have volunteers that staff the nursery during the worship service. Volunteers regularly get background checks and we follow a Safe Sanctuaries policy. Children are also welcome to stay in our worship service.
7. What other events do you have going on throughout the week? We have different events happening throughout the year, from community breakfasts to Holiday bazaars, Bible Studies, and other opportunities to gather together and serve the community. Check out the Events Tab for the most updated information on what is happening. You can also subscribe to our weekly email newsletter to get updates. We also have an adult Sunday School class at meets most Sunday mornings at 9:30 in the back of our sanctuary.
